Solar Power System Phillip Island – 5.0kWp Phono Solar / SolarMax
This beautiful solar power system mounted on a home in Phillip Island, utilize 20 Phono Solar panels, all neatly installed onto 1 section of the northern roof space. This solar installation aesthetically complemented the appearence of the home, and radically improved the carbon footprint. The home used 3-phase electricity supply so we used a Nedap PowerRouter with a 3-phase sensor, and set the inverter to 1kW export, to satisfy the requirements of the distributors.
Integrated into the solar power system was the battery ready component of the PowerRouter, which is ready to be coupled with a battery controller for energy storage, so that the customer can disconnect from the grid, with the solar power system supply enough power for complete energy independence.
The installed solar power system has the capability of generating over $2000 per year in electricity savings based on a 100% consumption model.
During summer, the solar power system is capable of generating an average daily output of 25kWh, with minimum average totals in June of 10kWh per day.
