Solar Battery – Hybrid Power System – Melbourne
Single phase hybrid system comprising of a total 4.2 kW PV Array stored in 7.6kW/h LiFeP04 battery bank.
Green Power designed and installed this solar battery hybrid renewable energy system in Melbourne, that caters for the average daily loads of the property, aiming to eliminate electricity demand from the main grid, while maintaining grid connection for required incremental shortfalls, while also maintaining enough power to provide power when the grid is down. The battery system quoted is a single phase system, and is designed in giving back up power to for essential services.
The system will generate an average of 15.5.8kwh/day (generation will fluctuate due intermittent weather conditions and seasonal variances).
Base load will be provided by solar power, generating an average of 15.5 kWh/day increasing to a maximum average in Jan of 25kWh/day and a minimum average in July of 12kWh/day. The 7.2kW LiFeP04 battery bank will be set to 80% depth of discharge providing 5.6kWh of available energy storage when required. Based on averages, this system will create power independence for the property, based on an 11-12kW/h Daily Load. System will require help in winter months via the grid.
