Red Circle Solar offer a wide range of high quality close coupled evacuated tube hot water system that is ideal for domestic and commercial swimming pools as well as hydronic heating pre-boosting into storage tanks. Red Circle Solar with 60 tube manifold could produce 5KW per hour and in summer would produce an average of 40- 50KWH per day. The Red Circle evacuated tubes are filled with water and heated water is stored in stainless steel insulated storage tank, using a triple silicon O- ring.
Titanium Heat Exchanger
When heating a swimming pool using a red circle solar hot water system, the swimming pool water must be separate from the solar heated water due to corrosion from chlorine or salt. The Red Circle Solar evacuated tubes can be coupled with titanium heat exchangers that is used to extract heat from the solar heated water and pass it into the swimming pool water via circulation pumps. Red Circle evacuated tube technology will help lower the running cost and also extend the swimming pool season.
Solar Evacuated Tubes
The Red Circle Solar evacuated tube absorbs sunlight energy in the form of UV rays and converts it into thermal energy conduction. Red Circle Solar evacuated tubes are composed of high boron- silicon glass, and is over 93 efficient in capturing the suns heat. The internal layer of glass has three coatings which helps in heat absorption and transfer, with a clear layer of external glass to let heat pass through. Red Circle evacuated solar tubes have an insulation layer that ensures heat entering the evacuated tube does not escape.
Red Circle Solar uses wet or flooded evacuated tube system where the tube is full of water and the suns heat is directly transferred to the water in the tube before the heat is then thermosyphoned into a stainless steel storage tank.
Low Pressure Stainless Steel Tanks with a High Pressure Heat Exchange Coil
Red Circle Solar have a low pressure storage tanks which can be connected to multiple heat generation systems, like a heat pump, evacuated tubes and wetback wood fire booster. When hot water is needed, cold water enters the 3 x 40 mtr 3/4′ submerged copper heat exchange coil that is coiled inside the stainless steel tank where it extracts heat from the stored water inside the storage tank.
