Commercial Solar Power Box Hill – 19.2kWp – QCells / SMA – 2012
This commercial solar energy solution was designed to off-set the average daily loads of the Storage company on Middleborough Rd, Box Hill. Kings Storage has opted to power their industrial lighting and service electrical loads with a 19.2kWp solar power system. The aim is to power internal lighting to reduce daytime electricity demand from the main grid & minimising the export of solar power while maintaining grid connection for required incremental shortfalls. Also included was the retro-fitting of existing Highbays to LED on a quality motion detector sensor system.
3-phase grid-connected commercial solar power plant comprising of 19.2 kWp roof-mounted Solar PV. The solar panels have been fixed flat to the roof which is inclined at 18 degrees facing almost true north
2 x 10kW Dual Tracking Solar Power Systems
Solar System Performance
The commercial solar power system will generate an average of 69.12 kWh per day (generation will fluctuate due to intermittent weather conditions and seasonal variances).
This system will generate a maximum daily average in Jan of 96.0 kWh per day and a minimum daily average in June of 48kWh per day.
The total average annual generation from this 19.2kW Solar PV system is 25,228 kWh per year.
